Hi all, I also got some great viewing of this partial solar eclipse from Dundalk this morning under really clear skies

I also saw it live on the web from Turkey, it was absolutely stunning!

Canon 300D, 85mm lens plus a CD in front of lens

Just my 2 cents...

Did anybody else notice the sun spot about the 9 o'clock position on the disc today? I didn't get time in work to set up the scope, but did catch a few minutes of the eclipse with binoculars and am quite sure there was a sun spot close to the left limb. Can anyone confirm ?
