Lots of solar activity... with a PST! (Sunday Oct 22nd) was created by Seanie_Morris
Hi folks,
just out with Mike OC at his gaff, and he has the 60mm Coronado PST out... a nice sunspot group has become bigger since we barely saw it through haze yesterday afternoon. His PST is also showing up an awful lot of edge phenomenae - flares etc abound all over the edge of the solar disc.
We're kind of making the most of the sun now, seeing as it is getting cloudy again, and the rain last night, and not knowing if it will be clear enough tonight to try and spot some Orionids or not...
Get out and see the sun while you can!

Yes, lovely proms alright in the 40mm PST. Nice sunspot complex also in view.
