On September 16 UT at 4h 30m, a 65 km diameter asteroid (638) MOIRA will occult a 8.8 mag star in Taurus, passing through a line from Dublin to Clare with a width of 81km. The combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 6.8 mag to 15.6 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 5.9 seconds.

638 Moira occults TYC 1286-00191-1 postion RA 5h 7m 58.126s, decl.+ 16 degrees 58min 47.09secs.

The Moon is 3% sunlit, 115 degree distance

The recordingd can be either by visual with stop watch or better using video with time insertion.
