Massive sunspot group visible at the moment....naked eye easily.
I observed this group yesterday and remember remarking to myself that it was a relatively rare occasion when the white light view was far more interesting than the Ha view. What I saw was an almost complete circle of spots well over the emerging limb. The configuration looked spectacular ....well today they have grown massively to become a huge group....would not be surprised if some record was set here or a CME event maybe.....go out and look
