Hydrogen Alpha Observing. was created by lunartic_old

Hi all

I am wondering if anyone is observing the sun in hydrogen alpha?  I have not seen any reports, I am currently observing the sun in white light and I am thinking that in the future I might try hydrogen alpha.

Hi Paul,

Your post prompted me to take out my PST and have a quick look. I can report a small prominence on the limb and I could see nothing else.

Once things settle down you can borrow the scope if you want to give Ha a go.

Regards,

Michael.

Thanks Michael.

I wonder if things will ever settle down.
