I presume you mean www.andromedaoptics.com ? - If so then personally I dont think you are going to be successful :( - I emailed them a long time ago about buying a pair of binoculars and never got a response - Then did a "drive-by" of the address that i traced for them in Rathmines - Looked to be vacant..........................

If you do get a response i would be very interested...................

Yes - andromedaoptics.com.... Anyone know if they are still trading - I know they've been mentioned on these boards recently...

It'd be a shame if they're gone. I guess I'd have to go to... no, I'm not opening that can of worms again...

OK.....................
Being new here..................
1) - Why were then mentioned?
2) - Go where? (trying to avoid walking into a minefield)
3) - Depends what you are trying to buy .............. But my first port of call for anything and everything is Ebay (even if only to identify the online retailer who sell out of it - I ended up buying the binoculars i was looking for from germany through a dealer i identified that way..............................

hi guys,

Wally lives around the corner from my place in Terenure and I'd meet him a fair bit for a jar or two in the local so I'll give him a buzz after I get back from Tipp on Sunday -- no mobile coverage where my folks place is believe it or not! We live in a hollow according to the mobile phone companies ( that's "hollow", not "hovel" :) )

all the best,

Andromeda Optics are definately still on the go! If you get no reply by E-mail then write to Walter Mee at 159 Upr. Rathmines Rd D6.
They are well worth checkig out as their prices are much lower than another well known Irish retailer!
