Hi - bought one fairly recently - to use as guide camera. I took a few frames through my FS60CB just to test before I put it to use for guiding. Worked fine for what I want.
Did you download the drivers.....I thought they would have been with the camera but they weren't. Check this link to the website:

I just downloaded ONE driver: High Performance Driver (Ver13-1-6)

I have Vista on the laptop that I use for Astro. I use Astro Art 5 software for image capture but since putting this camera to work as a guide camera - I control it via PHD. As PHD is free it would be very easy & quick to test the camera via that programme.

If you installed more than one driver (you did mentioned drivers) then as per the web site I would uninstall them and ONLY install one. I think the second one High Compatibility Driver (Ver13-1-7) may be better if you had problems with the other....it says "high compatibility".

Astro Art is not free (unsure if there is a trial)but for sure PHD is free. I think once you confirm that you have the driver in and have some programme talking to the camera - then the next step (to use the software you normally work with) should not be too big a step.

I am sure it has to be the driver problem that is stopping you just now.

I have an Orion SSIAG. Which is basically a QHY 5-I camera. It is a huge pain in the backside to get working. The drivers have to be spot on or it won't work. Connect the camera and go to device manager (or whatever abomination windows 8 has). Goto the tab for it - possibly something like astrophotography. Goto driver details and delete the driver. Connect it again. If it installs - repeat process until you get a prompt for install software drivers. Then make absolutely sure you have the correct version ( 64 bit if your OS is 64 bit ) and install. If it isn't working - point the driver search to something like c:\program files\QHY\driver. Also try PHD 2 www.daddog.com/phd2.
