space week on discovery science

Havnt read a post on this yet, so just to inform you, discovery science is having a space week. lastnight was a show about the lunar lander and the ISS, tonight its the design of the space suit. there are upcomming shows about the lunar rover, the apolo command capsule and a few more. the ones already on about the lunar lander and the space suit will be repeated over the next few days from what i see.

they are full of interviews with people who helped design and implement the suits,veichles etc. really really good.

il be recording them so if anyone wants to let me know how to copy them off an NTL recorder box id be happy to put them on dvd for folk.

try not to miss them.

I think the first showing of the episodes on discovery channel is at 9pm on Sunday, looks great !

Two episodes were on last night "Space suits" and the Lunar rover....fasinating stuff, never new the spacesuit was made by Platex......:laugh: It was long way to come from a silk scarf, leather helmet and goggles to the technological marvel of todays spacesuit.

watched all so far....great television - to see those in the background who made it possible
