Anybody still think we are alone?

Just have a look at the new Hubble deep field image just released, if you can download the high resolution image it's astounding the amount of galaxies there going back 13 billion years!

Absolutely jaw dropping Keith.
I have seen it stated that there are more stars in the known universe than all the grains of sand on all the beeches on Earth, I am not sure how factual that is but looking at this image I wouldn’t be surprised by that statement.

with all the countless stars out ther that have planets orbiting ther has to any amount of planets with life, the whole place is just to massive for ther not to be, i thinks anyway

That's a cracker of an image. I think it's astounding what Hubble has been able to capture after each service or addition. Remember the 'other' deep field shot, I think it was in 2004?

That photo is a real "gobsmacker" - it really helps convey the staggering richness of the universe. Thanks for the link Keith. I now have 7,500 galaxies on my desktop background.
