50 years of human spaceflight slide show

hi everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the fab weather.

With the 50th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight just 2 days away, I have created a 40-slide Microsoft Powerpoint presentation on the history of human space flight. It might be of use if you want show it at any event your might be hosting this week.

The file is 6.75Mb in size and can be downloaded from the link below by right-clicking on it and selecting Save As

I have set a 15-second transition between slides but that can be tweaked in Powerpoint itself. It should also be possible set it up to loop through the show continuously.

Feel free to change the last slide with my name, etc. if you want to add any info about your club etc.

I did up the presentation mostly for something the Children's Hope charity can show as people arrive for Korniyenko's talk next Friday morning. I also suggested they could have it running outside the hall on Thursday night in DCU.

After doing this particular slide-show, I might do up a few more and load them to the DropBox site along with speaker notes. Clubs, etc. would then be able to download them for their own events.

Juat a reminder it is also the 30th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle launch on April 12 1981
