Monitor marks was created by Bill_H
My three-year-old has splashed something on my monitor screen, not swerious, but three irritating blobs of liquid which are getting in the way of my imaging. can anyone tell me the safest way to cleen the screen? I can clean her blood off the floor OK but don't want to damage the screen
Thanks again, Bill H.

how about a cloth
sorry, I just couldn't resist, you can get screen wipes if you really need, monitor screens are fairly robust.

I remember a friend of mine got her new computer and ended up spraying polish down the top of the monitor into the air vents and ended the poor monitors life!  she couldnt figure out why it wasnt working

You can buy monitor wipes, which are alcohol based and non smear etc. etc.
Usually I just use a damp cloth.

Manythanks, I was just worried that using a damp cloth would cause some damage. Mrs wanted to hit it with Mr Sheen, but i smacked her wrist  That's why i have a black eye now

I have found the packs of moint cleaning wipes available in Lidl stores very good for cleaning Computer monitors etc..... A quick wipe with the Lidl wipe and finish with a dry cloth or tissue and the job is done.

I wouldn't use them on the optics of a telescope though!!!!
