If you are looking for very decent service at a good price, I use hosteasier.com which gives a good service for €36 hosting per year, I also use others like hostroute.com at $66 and more professional servers at Cedant.com which are a bit more expensive but more robust.

Good Point about the time zones and the "Guaranteed Irish"ness !
