I'd bet you never thought you'd see a keyboard in the observing equipment forum.
This keyboard has red illumination and works well at the scope.

I've been looking for one of these for a long time now.
It might prove useful for you.

Just what I'm looking for, for the observatory! I couldn't tell from the Maplin site if it was wireless or not - any ideas?

Its USB wired, maybe you can get a wireless USB adapter or something ?

To do that the keyboard would need a power supply. That means having it plugged into a powered wireless unit. No point.

Unless it could run off batteries, but that would bring its own grief.

The problem Dave, even if you could get the keyboard to run off of a 4.5 volt battery, is that you don't have a wireless transmitter.

I can live with a wire - I just couldn't see one in the pic!
