I would have to say that there is a good chance it would work.
This cable is USB1, as are the webcams.
Its fine having a webcam image, but how are you going to focus the scope with it so far away?, do you have an electronic focuser that you can control from the PC?

I use one of those. It works great with my NexImage, Toucam & Sac10 CCD.
They definitely work as the Sac performs far better with the extender than without for some reason; I get alot of noise without the extender attached but it's gone when the extender is used.
The model I use is this, but I'm guessing it's the exact same electronics.
