Firefox - Colour in some images

Only noticed this recently with some of my images...
For some reason, Firefox doesn't seem to handle the colour in some images correctly.
Both IE and Safari seem ok, problem just seems to be Firefox.
I've noticed it in both jpg and png files.

Anyone lese noticed this??

It looks it is a colorspace issue. Most web browsers make a dogs dinner out of colour as they don't handle colorspaces very well.
Most people use Adobe RGB 1998 as their default colorspace when processing images, which is fine for processing because it is such a large gamut of colours. However, most browsers only support sRGB which is a smaller gamut.

In order to ensure you are getting the correct colour across all browsers, it is best to convert/assign the sRGB colorspace to your image before uploading it to the web.

Thanks Darragh.

I opened the tiff file in CS3.
Edit -> Covert to Profile -> sRGB.
Saved the file with a different name.
Resaved it as a .png file.
Opened it in Firefox and had the same problem.

Am I doing something wrong?
