At the risk of sounding like a dumb ass, (ok sometimes i am a dumb ass)
I hope to get into autoguiding soon for imaging, but I'm unsure at what are the minimum specs that are needed on a laptop to run PHD autoguiding software off.
I've seen many second hand ones here, that seem reasonably priced

Should I stay away? Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Keith.

Keith,
Simon128d on the NIAAS forum upgrades/refurbs laptops as part of his job so may be worth talking to about this. He sorted out my oldest laptop which is now my 'If the other two fail' XP backup machine.
