Most of the software that comes with the camera is slow or useless for astrophotography.
Here is an update program that allows you to view your RAWS quickly and do little pre-processing on them.
You will need to download the EOS viewer in place of the slow file viewver that comes on the disk. That program can also be found on the Canon software site. Somewhere.
