Picked up an iPad at the weekend. An amazing device for it's size. I am of course looking to put some astronomy apps onto it to justify the expense (or wife will kill me).
I found star walk which is pretty cool and moon globe HD. Are there any other apps anyone else has used worth looking at?
I am really ticked off that it won't support adobe flash player though. Really limits it's ability to downstream tv programs and videos.

flash---that's why I went with the asus eee pad. Uses google android.
Not as many astronomy apps available though but web functionality is significantly better.
All about compromise I suppose...

Have you checked out the Sky Safari app?
It even has a scope control option via WiFi
