Hi all, I travelled down south June bank holiday weekend last, here are a couple of shots taken under fabulous clear summer skies. Here lies the Milkyway over a beach setting, all that could be heard was the gentle sound of the slow moving waves against the shoreline with the deep blue summer sky overhead as it is not fully dark at this time of year. The nightsky was at it's deepest blue. I have tried to take into the scene the beautiful flowers that can only be seen in June on the cliff tops. The Milkyway was so bright, no light pollution at all, Mars and Saturn shone over the sea like headlights.. My aim is to have the viewer get that sense of that moment in time.

Hey Keith.

Can that really be a reflection of Mars in the sea?!

Beautiful peaceful image. Thank you.

Aubrey.

Thanks guys I've been planning those for a while, next step is to get panoramas and yes Aubery that is Mars' reflection over the calmest sea surface :)
