Esprit 100 First light

Well this is a long awaited first light for me. Not the greatest target given the focal length but limited by my house to the North, North west and North East.
Given that the moon is about to brighten the night sky and fast dwindling astro dark, this is probably my last of the season.

Congrats on the new scope.....same as John Dolan, I believe. That appears to be huge chip on the camera....it will be a great combination for wide-field images. What actual ArcSec/Pix do you have there?

Thanks. It's 1.775 arc seconds per pixel. The 071 is an Aps-c Osc. 1.8" 16 mp sensor.

Perfect match. For wide field now I am at 1.9 AS/Pix. Below 2 was my goal even with a wide fov......looks like yours too. At that resolution it is always easy to make any particular part of the image into a new image in its own right....so sometimes you can get 2 or 3 actual images out of one session.

It is an excellent image with brilliant focus
