The Cocoon Nebula in SHO was created by michael_murphy

Hello All,

Here is the Cocoon Nebula. I started in November (2021) and had to wait until 18th Jan to get the final set of images to complete this.

The image is 19 Ha, 52 O3 and 27 S2 subs. Each sub is 300s long.
Taken with an Atik 414EX attached to a Skywatcher ED80 on a Skywatcher HEQ6.
Guiding with PHD and processed in Pixinsight.

Michael.

Welcome back, Darren!

I will be keeping Michael's image of the Cocoon Nebula for the next issue of Orbit.

Clear skies from Aubrey .
