Yes, you read it correctly.
The program is called Registar, not Registax!
Registar is a program which can align several images and stack them. It appears to be more designed for DSO images rather than planets which registax excels in. From trying Registar out this evening briefly, I think it can automatically compensate for field rotation between seperate images. It can also combine all the images to form one resultant. Very useful especially if you don't have a wedge, don't have very precise polar alignment or don't have extremely precise gears. The demo doesn't allow you to save the final image but even doing a "Print-screen" on the final image, I was able to bring it into Photoshop and process it further and get a better image than I had obtained previously using other software.

I'll experiment with it further and let ye know how I get on.
My initial impression is that it's very easy to use and seems to do the job fairly well. Final combined image can then be further processed in Photoshop as in the above example.
Anyone else here using this program :?:

very interesting, I give it a go
It seems to have done a better job then registax did on the m57 shot.
I've images captured from last week, maybe it'll bring them out more.

Only drawback id that it's very expensive to buy.
Almost the same cost as Imageplus even though Imageplus can do a whole lot more.
