What's the story with Dunsink? I remember signing a petition over a year ago (I think) but I've heard nothing more.
Also, there was a lot of discussiion on the boards about some optics gathering dust in the Dunsink basement...

You're thinking of the ADH telescope......yes, the optics are in Dunsink but are owned jointly by Dunsink and Armagh Observatories. If Dunsink goes, the optics will undoubtedly go to Armagh and not to a certain observatory in Celbridge. www.arm.ac.uk/history/instruments/ADH-telescope.html
