This is an excellent resource I stumbled across for anyone interested in early planetary images. It has a searchable database of images from several observatories around the world.

Its pretty amazing to see the early pics of Jupiter taken back in the 1890s as compared to now.

For example this pic of Jupiter from 1891 clearly shows how much the GRS has shrunk
