Moon Painting

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I'd asked a friend (artist) to paint me a picture of the moon as she saw it - she doesn't usually do commissions but since I do the photography for her exhibitions I'd put her under pressure.
The following piece is entitled "Christy's Moon" - my middle name is Chris.
I like it - a lot.

Yep I like it a lot , I enjoy textured paintings. Mine are mostly very tactile, I never would have thought to post them here. Stellar media hmmmmmmmmmm sounds like a good place for paintings.

If I wanted a realistic picture of our moon I'd just use one of my own photos.

I hope she is cheaper than Alan Bean!
