There is an new English language translation of the guide Atlas of the Messier Objects by Stoyan et al. It appears excellent, at least at first glance - I had a chance for a quick glance through my copy.
It features Astro-Physical info, Observational Notes, Photographs (many in colour) and drawings (many historical).
It is called C.U.P. at £35 (about €43).
It nice to have, but I won't throw out Glyn Jones, O'Meara, Mallas & Kreimer or Vehrenberg,
