hi all,
I always had an intrest in astronomy but only recently (sept 2007) took the plunge and got myself a telescope, an ETX125PE. however a move from cavan to wexford put paid to pulling it out until recently. anyway question is there a club in wexford. i dont see anything on the map accross the way.

There was a Slaneyside Astronomy Society but that became defunked recently. You do have Deise Astronomy Society in Waterford City. Depending where you live in County Wexford, it could be a short drive along the N25. I don't have any more news myself on that I'm afraid...

Maybe if you could find who was in Slaneyside then maybe you could get together and go observing, unfortunately I have no idea who it was. anyone?

I was asking about clubs in Wexford here almost a year ago. As far as I know there was a club - Slaneyside Astronomers - but it became dormant after the guy who ran it (his name escapes me right now) went to study in Cork. There was an email address but when I made enquiries there I got no reply.
