Hello from Co Cork

Just want to say hello from the south coast. Got the hatches battened down 'cause of the "lovely" weather we've been having. Been watching the sky for a few years now with a 3" refractor , 10*50 and 15*70 binos. I also bore anyone who listens to me to death going on about quantum physics (never studied just very interested). Just remember the wind and rain are a chance to experience first hand the effects of a star on the atmosphere of a planet.

You should enjoy the observational topics posted in the forum. Lots of good advice too and sharing of experiences. Not so much talk of quantum physics - but then does anyone really understand that stuff.

Heisenberg was stopped for speeding on some interstate highway - cop asks Heisenberg:

"Excuse me Sir, - do you know what speed you were doing?"

Heisenberg replies: "No Officer - but I know where I am!".
