Leisure Batteries was created by Damo636

Hi everyone. I am looking for a decent 12 volt leisure battery to power dew strips etc and wondering where to source one. Does anyone know of any good Irish suppliers.

Cheers

I can recommend the following company from direct experience, having bought a number of batteries for cars motorbikes and campers from them over the years.

Hi Damo,
I have about 10 of them. These are probably a bit big for lugging about though but would be fine at home. They are 120VA, large car battery size. If you are anywhere within driving distance of Cork,(or Waterford) you can have one. I use them for BBU in WISP broadband access points. (tis always good to have backup for the bbu!)

Thanks very much for the kind offer John. Unfortunately i am a fair bit away from you in Fermanagh. I am looking for something not to big and heavy as we often travel to a dark site and it sometimes involves walking a bit with the gear in tow. Thanks anyway.

Dealt with these guys in North Ireland, delivered to Cork in less than 24 hours and much cheaper than what I could get locally for my camper

Many thanks for the links, I'll be using these when the one I have eventually becomes unchargable.
