Problem with focuser on Orion Optics OD300 F4 Dobs

I bought this a few years ago but only started again recently after a 24 month forced break from observing.
Problems with the focuser.
1. Not nearly enough range of travel on the focuser. I'm using a Paracorr (visual) as an extension barrel.
2. More seriously the focuser slips back when I use any 2" eyepiece.
I would appreciate any advice on an appropriate upgrade for the focuser. I'm looking for one with finer focus control, greatr focus range and a brake that can hold a 41mm Panoptic (maybe thats too much to ask)

Health: CAF (Chronic Aperture Fever). No known cure. Known to cause Dobs to expand into Obsession.
