ISS Solar Pass was created by Paul Evans
I got lucky today - of the upcoming ISS Solar passes only one actually went over my house requiring no unnecessary travel, and the weather delivered!

This is the International Space Station coming directly between the Sun and my house at 17:38 and 47 secs today.

Viewed through a Baader filtered 400mm f5 scope with 2x teleconverter and Lumix 4K camera at 4K/30fps giving 54 frames aligned in PiPP and stacked up in StarStax in "Darken" blend mode Colours adjusted in Photoshop Elements

Enjoy!

Paul.

Fabulous shots Paul... I was waiting for the 1602 pass but it didn't clear till 1604... it's amazing how fast it crosses the solar disc, blink and you miss it.

That's still an extraordinary event, Paul.
I saw this very event happen in 2013 from South Dublin,
It was not visible in North Dublin at all.
It was my 2nd favourite event of that year after a Total Solar Eclipse.
Many congratulations, Paul, on your image of the ISS.
At the time, I had to instruct Valerie not to blink to see the ISS transiting the Sun.

Clear skies, everyone.

Aubrey.
