Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Another spectacular comet prediction? I'll believe it when I see it.

Finally got a glimpse of the comet last night. A 10 minute gap in the clouds appeared. It is a lovely object and was easy to spot naked eye even in my light polluted skies. Saturday seems to be the next break in the weather. I must have been in the only part of Ireland which was cloudy on Friday night (6 days ago).
