PVC PIPE TO GIVE A WAY

I have a piece of PVC pipe 40 inches long, 11 3/4 internal diameter with walls about 1/4 inch thick.It's sitting in my patio but not for much longer, if anybody wants it can collect it in Dublin 7 (by the Phoenix Park) .

Is this a pillar for a telescope mount or some sort of telescope tubing ???

It's just a pipe, you can use it as a tube to mount your optics or you can put it into the ground fill it with concrete and make a pier or add legs to it and make a portable pier.
