With the closure of the April Astrophotography Competition, it is time to judge the entries. Please view the included images, and select from the poll options which one you would like to see the winner. There is no need to reply to this post, or add comments - peoples views are their own but may seem to sway favour towards a particular photo if too many comments towards a particular photo is made.

Totality in Turkey.
Picture of the Sun's Corona during totality at Manavgat in Turkey using Meade ETX 70 scope and 26mm eyepiece, single shot using basic digital camera held to eyepiece.

M42, The Orion Nebula.
Taken with a 4inch f/10 Mak and Canon 300D camera. 469 second exposure at ISO 400. Autoguided with Meade LX90. Slight enhancement in Photoshop.

Taken April 22nd 2006 with a 200mm SCT on AP1200 GTO, using a F6.3 focal reducer, Meade DSI. MaximDL & Photoshop 7.0 used for processing.
