It is with great pleasure that I get to announce that Paul Evans, from Antrim, and member of East Antrim Astronomical Society, is the Winner of the IFAS Astrophotography Competition for February!

Thanks guys! That one was quite a difficult exposure to get right and of course the beauty of digital is that it was no problem to have several goes at it and fine-tune on a bigger screen when I got home!

I didn't have to travel any further than usual for that one as I took it on my way home from work - I work in Lisburn and live in Larne - that was taken from top of the hill above Dundrod looking out across Lough Neagh towards the Sperrins.
