Your target for entry into November's competition will be on Comet Holmes. No doubt, images have been taken since around the 23rd of October, so in the interest of fairness, all entries of Comet Holmes must be taken during November. Therefore, any image seen on the boards before October 31st is not allowed. ;)

Closing Date: Friday November 30th.

Entries are to be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and should be hosted off-site, and linked to that provider. If in doubt regarding what to do, please read the Rules & Guidelines .

PLEASE make all images no larger than 800 pixels in width. Those that are larger will be requested to be made smaller, or failure to reply will result in omission from the competition.

*bump*

Only one entry has been received so far, but I guess that's because lots of you are saving your best for (the) last (day of the month)...

Guys,

My ex-buddy, Dave Grennan, will be donating a fresh 10-euro note to each astrophotographer (and sketcher, Dee) NOT participating in this month's contest. If you have already submitted something, with one quick email you can withdraw your submission and my ex-buddy, Dave Grennan, will reward you with a fresh 20-euro note.

Many thanks to my ex-buddy Dave Grennan ... if only he knew he will still remain my ex-buddy!

I would have thought that it would make more sense to give the 'boobie prize' to those that did enter the competition... but, seeing as he is your ex-buddy...

Tonight is last call folks, so please hurry. Some excellent shots have been submitted already of Holmes, but that doesn't mean you should give up on entering.
