Your target for entry into January's competition will be on Stellar Tails (Star Trails). Images previously entered into an Orion-themed astrophotography competition on these IFAS boards are NOT allowed i.e. some new images MUST have been taken in the time since! ;)

Closing Date: Thursday January 31st.

Entries are to be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and should be hosted off-site, and linked to that provider. If in doubt regarding what to do, please read the Rules & Guidelines .

PLEASE make all images no larger than 800 pixels in width. Those that are larger will be requested to be made smaller, or failure to reply will result in omission from the competition. Some people have missed this bit in previous months :D

One week till the close of the competition. Get your entries in soon. If it wasn't for this blasted weather, I am sure we would have some interetsing entries. I hope for any of you looking for clear skies to take part, get some soon.
