Sunset in Mallorca, but no green flash was created by dave_lillis
Well Lads,
I was away last week in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca, where the sky is blue and not much clouds were to be seen.
I had the opportunity to get some good sunsets there and tried getting the green flash but it just wasnt happening for me, here are some pics.
The sun was literally on the sea horizon there but no green flash. It was gone about a second after this shot, it was cool to be able to see the sun moving with the naked eye as it disappeared below the blue sea.
While there, we had a good look at the night sky , and it was great to see Orion so high, Mars was practically overhead. Usually I don't get to see the winter constellations when I'm abroad as it is usually in the summer.
Enjoy.

Lovely shots .... pitty you didn't get a green flash but still, lovely shots.

Pity you didn't catch it
and it looked like you had a perfect setting also.
Makes me want to go for a sun holiday right now!!!
