Late evening Rainbow was created by JohnMurphy
This evening suddenly the living room was lit up by a surreal yellow light. I knew something unusual was happening so I rushed outside to see a fabulously clear rainbow amid a bit of a downpour. A quick dash for the camera and a few snaps caught the following shot. Now for the science bit; ever wonder why the inside of a rainbow appears brighter? - well, this is because light reflected from a raindrop is scattered more towards the inside of the bow.

Now, a rainbow shot (not shotS) like that I don't mind seeing here! Nicely orientated with the foreground tree and background scenery John. Was there a pot'o'gold behind that house on the right?
