Big NCL display underway

There is an extensive NCL display just starting in the northwest, very broad at least 100 degrees in width.

By the time I got out to Shannon they had grown and
become so bright I could hardly believe we stood for an hour
in that car park looking out for them!
They were right there all the time just obscured by the hotel!

Cloud obscured the best of it from here but I set the camera on time-lapse and went to bed.

This technique should be handy when we get a better display!

I don't mean to be rude but I didn't see a single NLC in that video!

Looked very bright in Dublin at abut 1.30 am this morning. Not a lot of structure to it, then again I was looking over the city, but as you say it was exceptionally bright.
