Wow what a display observed it outside downpatrick along with a few members of ifas we thought at first it was a volcanic display as it appeared at 23.00 hrs but quickly realised this was an nlc display lovely deep blue colours and great herringbone structure,here's some images i took.

Excellent shots Jonathan! There was some nice texture visible in there for sure.
