The conspiracy theorists would tell you this is HAARP in operation. I'm sorry to say I have no better explanation :)

What's HAARP?

I thought it was an artists impression at first - but its a real photo. Very peculiar...

speaking of conspiracies... when I saw the images I thought it looked a bit like the alleged Aurora (US aircraft not borealis!) contrails.

Probably an effect from a rocket launch though.

Could be HAARP or something similar, It looks too perfect to be a missile.

Dont forget Obama is in Oslo this week to pick up an award so it was prob a pre demo test!
