On Monday morning at 7am on his way to work Galway AC member Gavin Duffy spotted a wonderful Sun Pillar, not knowing what it was he grabbed his mobile and took this shot www.flickr.com/photos/galwayastronomyclub/4501793353/sizes/o/. Now it as you can see its a pretty poor photo but it must have been a wonderful sight as many of his and my work mates were asking him what this was. Unfortunately I did not see it. Just wondering if anyone else did?
