First NCL display June 10 was created by R Newman
Was looking out of a bedroom window this morning from about 01.30-02.05 for Comet R1 McNaught when I finally spotted what looked like an NCL. Of course after I took the images and went back inside and "low and behold" they were slightly out of focus, your guess as good as mine..NCL's??
They were quite faint but with some structure and were gone within 10 minutes
Can be see here at www.flickr.com/photos/galwayastronomyclub/ sorry for the poor quality, both at ISO1600 for 8 seconds

No not me Dave, I think that goes to a guy from Maghaberry, N.Ireland who first photographed the display in bright twilight at 00.10 last night.
