Good ideas, I will create an IT board with a section for software and a section for Web Resources.

I will also add a cosmology board ot general, can't imagine it needing an entire category for it self!

Maybe a beginners forum, that general and technical questions about astronomy could be posted by beginners (like me) and answer by the more experienced
