Frank,

I copied that weather page from the IHPA website and removed elements that are not useful to us.
I'll need to check if there is issues with using Met Eireann data, but I don't see any as we are only linking to the images but serving them.

Have you ascertained what can be put into the weather page yet?
I've scoured around the net but this site keeps coming up trumps
in terms of providing everything an astronomer would need.

Glad you like it - that's my work!

If you want to use it then go right ahead - though it could be tailored a bit better for astronomy (current sunspot map / aurora report / seeing prediction map / etc.) I have links for most of these things as well. Dave Grennan also has some very good links on his webtreats site.

I checked with MetEireann about this when I was doing the IHPA weather page - they have no problem as long as you give the proper credits (a clear heading stating where the images come from and a link directly to their website.)

I didn't think a weather page could be flooded with so many (useful) maps! I stand corrected from my earlier statement so!

Lads,
What a super detailed weather page. welldone !!
Can I ask if the 2 following links could be put in there or their sequences used somehow, the hourly time sequence of the satellite images is invaluable for seeing whats coming and trying to judge cloud cover in the coming hours.

If they're in there already, then sorry in advance for not seeing them.

I like it!
You could have 2 parts,
the first half - Earth weather
(the 2 links Dave suggested are great, I use those all the time also.)
and then the bottom half - Space Weather.

It would save checking loads of sites.
