Valerie and I enjoyed every minute of Solarfest. It is always great meeting up with many familiar friends and acquaintances. Good lectures too and quite a sunny day. Great views of sunspots with white light filters.
My personal thanks to Michael O'Connell for everything.

hi all,

Good to see everyone along on Saturday and hope you all enjoyed Solarfest. Many thanks to everyone who helped out and especially to Michael and Hilary for their hard work. Even Mr Sun joined the party by shining down on the gathering throughout the day.

I forgot to also chip in my thanks to the organisers for another successful SolatFest this year - well done! I got to see some stunning views of Old Sol through Michael Murphy's Coronado PST and other filtered instruments on the day. Roll on next year!
