Feedback once again appreciated.
I have discovered an issue though. Its to do with UT versus local time. e.g. when a time is calculated as 23:00 (for example) and daylight saving is on the time is displayed as 24:00. It gets worse if you are in a timezone like +3hrs when it will then show as 27:00. I will fix that tomorrow so it shows in the next day as it should.

Would it be possible to make these programs into java-based applets and suitable to upload onto a mobile phone?

I'll try the 3G connection later and see if it works.
That will be interesting. I would expect the location it gives will be the location of the base station of your service provider.
Hi Dave,
I gave it a go and as you suspect the app still says Dublin.

Just an idea Dave:
Would it be possible to make these programs into java-based applets and suitable to upload onto a mobile phone?
At some point down the road yes, but they would need to be completely re-written. Many of these routines started life about 10 years ago as a VB application. Recently I began porting them to php to use as the web apps you see here. Porting them again to java would definitely be possible, but I still have a lot more to do with the web apps. I'm particularly interested in writing routines for satellites such as the ISS etc.
So the short answer is yes but not anytime soon.

I'm not ready to publish the web app yet until I evaluate the processing impact on the server. However here's June 2008 diagram.
Any suggestions? Colors ok?

{before you say it, I just noticed, June 31st!!}

In temrs of colours, can I suggest something like a shade of grey instead of mustard for the background colour? The only colour then would be the moons.

At the risk of being very picky, could you have a black and white version so you would know what you would get when printing the diagram?

Yep, I'll pop one up later and we can see what it looks like.
Michael: B&W would be possible too.
