Just observed the ISS through the 16" SCT.
Got the mount to track the satellite.
What can I say - an incredible sight!
WOW!
Solar panels and main body EASILY visible.
Add that was with a low power eyepiece.
Definetly well worth trying!

yip, it sure is, Tom and I were using the 25x100 binos on a unimount mount and WOW it was all there, !!,
This mount is very easy to track manually.
Like Michael says, deffo worth a go.

Was it July or August 2009 when we were treated to a shuttle launch and viewing around 11pm Irish Time, can anyone remember? I remember broadcasting it live on my radio show and got a whopping amount of positive responses for it, it may have been an Irish radio first! MAC even got a couple new members from it.
