Trevor - that looks excellent.

Dave L - what are your co-ordinates? I'll take a look.

Just adding my own little 2 cents worth:

Each 'magnifying glass' can be a hotspot link to the actual club's own homepage, or IFAS page.

To quote you Seanie, "bigger!" I dont like that fact that the Shannon estuary is missing, puts me way more inland then I'd like
Is it not possible to have the IFAS logo at each location and when the mouse hovers over the point, it brings on a drop down menu for the clubs website and you can go click it.

Trevor, I like your map also, is there a way of toning down the road lines, they are too emphasised and distract too much, I really am on for the idea of using the IFAS logo to donate positions, it makes it more all encompassing..
Would it be possible to have the marker exactly over the meeting position of each club, in Limerick it would be Mary I college, and have its size static so when you zoom in, the marker stays the same size, thus pinpointing the club meeting location.

Hi Dave,
firstly, my size, I was thinking space-friendly, in that it could be placed on the homepage. I can change it to include the Shannon Estuary!

To do the drop-down menu:yes, it can be done. But why make the user jump through hoops? If a map, such as this (for example) was to be placed on the homepage, then the location donation abbreviations would compliment the list of clubs along the left side of the page it would normally be viewed on.

Are we (in general, 'we') thinking making the map go onto a seperate page? or part of the 'intro' on the homepage? I'd prefer the latter, because it gives a good 'at-first-glance' look at IFAS's coverage.

I just looks a bit cluttered, maybe remove the gold disks and have the name over the location?
I think it would look better on the fornt page also.

Nice work lads!

Trevor,
I like your map. I think it should be used in some fashion as it would be useful for driving directions.

Seanie,
Your format of map is on the right track for use on the front page. My personal preference would be to remove the magnifing glass and incorporate the gold dot into the silver tag which contains the name of the club. This would tidy it up a little.

Overall though, we're on the right track.

Regards,
